About Us
District Council 37 Local 95 Head Start Employees Welfare Fund is located in New York City. The Fund was established to provide health benefits to employees and dependent children of contributing Head Start agencies through Collective Bargaining Agreements with
District Council 37 AFSCME, AFL-CIO.
The Fund currently provides Hospital, Medical, Prescription Drug,
and Dental Insurance benefits.

Benefit Highlights
Eligibility: Dependent children up to age 26
(without employer sponsored coverage).
Open Enrollment
Each year Plan participants have the opportunity to review their current health insurance and make changes for the new benefit year. Changes to your coverage can only be made during the Fund’s Open Enrollment period. Outside of the Open Enrollment, participants can make changes only if they experience a Qualifying/Special Circumstances event.
